I have been looking into heart rate monitors. I would like something which tracks my heart rate though out the day, and I am then able to upload to my PC.
I swim alot – so it would need to be waterproof. The nearest thing I can find is the MiBand http://milife.com/ , but this only does “activity” – which seems to be how much you wave your arms around.
Any suggestions?
If anyone has used the MiBand would they recommend it?

I’m looking for a watch that monitors your heart rate for running but can take your pulse from your wrist so you don’t have to wear a chest strap. One that you can also program to alarm when your heart rate get too high. Like what the HULK wears in the new movie. Does anyone know what kind it was?

I am pregnant and workout and the info says that my heart rate can not go above 140 beats/min. So, I saw a wrist one, but my sister says they are not as accurate, is that true??? Thanks for your help!

Since the summer has almost arrived i plan on swimming everyday. I know that there are watches out there that monitor calories burned and your heart rate while you are exercising but is there any inexpensive watch that is good for swimmers? The watches that i have found require you wear a chest strap so i didn’t know if there was an alternative route out there. Please help!

I was wondering if anyone had a good idea of what the +/- of the read out of your heart rate on the monitors connected with the cardio machines. I know for the calorie read out you should take anywhere from 10 – 15% off the total.

Like you can use it while working on your computer. And it will give a general description of your BP and Heart rate conditions on your computer monitor.

Does anyone know how to intensify the sound during a heart rate reading? Thanks so much!

e.g on the handles of exercise bikes and treadmills. Is it really very accurate to measure your heart rate through your hands?

I am NOT a hard core exercise person. I’m just looking to get in better shape by running. I suspect that I’d get quickly adjusted to the chest strap but are there any wrist monitors which keep continuous track of your heart rate? I don’t wanna have to stop and put two fingers over the sensor, know what I mean?

I’m hoping to find a watch that will measure three things while I’m jogging, my heart rate, my speed, and my distance traveled. I’ve found watches that monitor heart rate, and I’ve found ones that will track speed and distance, but not one that does all three. Any recommendations?
